Comprehensive Pet Exams & Wellness Packages

Wellness care is all about preventing illnesses and giving your pet everything they need to keep up with their rapidly aging bodies.

Feline And Canine Wellness Exams

Animal Clinics Of The Woodlands offers a wellness program that’s designed to provide excellent care for your pet. The Wellness Program is designed to see your pet twice a year. Pet exams, blood work, and urinalysis are performed twice yearly, where baselines are established, and health problems can be caught in the early stages before they become health issues. The Wellness Program includes all vaccinations at no additional cost, and when heartworm preventative is purchased from our location, the cost of the heartworm test is deducted.

Annual Pet Examinations And Pet Care

If participating in a Wellness Program is not possible, we recommend that every pet goes to their veterinarian for a comprehensive pet exam at least once a year. A veterinarian will examine the pet from head to tail during the examination, including eyes, ears, mouth, heart/lung sounds, skin/coat, etc. At this time, the veterinarian will discuss any concerns clients have and discuss any unknown issues noted during the exam. Some illnesses/medical concerns can be detected during a comprehensive pet exam, but more serious conditions might go undetected without proper testing and diagnostic treatment.

Prevention is everything – and wellness care is paramount to the preventative health of pets. Due to the rapid progression of age for dogs and cats, we recommend for all of our clients sign their pets up for the bi-annual wellness package. The Wellness Package includes additional tests and services above the annual pet exam at a discounted cost. These tests give us the ability to check your pet’s complete health, allowing us to identify any potential health problems before they become serious. Because the services and tests are discounted, it makes complete care more affordable.

Wellness Program For Adult Dogs And Cats

Here at Animal Clinics of The Woodlands, our greatest joy is to be able to help your pet live a long and healthy life from the time they are a puppy or kitten and throughout their senior pet years. Our Yearly Pet Wellness Package is designed to establish a baseline for your pet’s health. Our veterinarians will monitor the results every year and identify potential issues affecting your pet’s health. Our veterinary practice offers the following Pet Wellness Package for adult pets at a discount in order to make your pet’s care more affordable:

Comprehensive pet examination (2x per year)
Bloodwork (2x per year) includes blood chemistry, a complete blood count, and a urinalysis.
All appropriate vaccinations based on species, age, and lifestyle
Fecal exam
Heartworm testing (specifically for canines)
